Appointment Policy
We prefer to schedule appointments for your convenience. Walk-ins will be seen as time becomes available. Pets may be dropped off for the doctors to examine when they have time throughout the day. For your convenience you may fill out a drop off form before you come in and present it to our receptionists upon arrival.

Wellness Program
At each wellness check up we will tailor your pet’s vaccinations to his or her specific need as well as perform a complete physical exam. Although physical exams are essential in evaluating your pet’s health they cannot pick up early changes in organ function or cell counts. Therefore we will offer you a variety of laboratory tests to evaluate your pet’s internal organs and blood.  The wellness form will give you more details about the tests while the health questionnaires may help jog your memory about any problems your pet has had since he or she was in last. You may bring the completed forms to your appointment if you like along with any questions you have.

Pre-Surgical Policy
All pets six years and older are required to have pre-anesthetic blood work to test for any hidden health conditions that could predispose them to increased anesthetic risk. For those pets five and younger, lab work is optional. Please withhold food after 10 pm the night prior to surgery. Water is okay. Our drop off time for surgery is between 7:30 and 8:30 am.

We offer a senior citizen discount of 10% for those young people over the age of 65. A deposit of half of the estimated bill may be required prior to leaving your pet for hospitalization.

Overnight Patients
While we do not have someone on the premises after hours, we do have an alarm system that contacts the police or fire department immediately in the event of an emergency and then contacts the doctors. Critically ill pets will be sent to the emergency clinic for overnight care. Boarding pets will be taken care of twice on Sundays and holidays.

Boarding Policy
All our boarders are housed individually in clean stainless steel homes lined with two towels, two water bowls, and food bowls. They are fed and medicated twice daily, three times if necessary, and walked at least three times daily. Cats in addition have litter boxes w/ clay litter, which are cleaned twice daily. They are fed Science Diet Sensitive Stomach, but special needs can be accommodated. Please bring any special diets/treats that your pets require. Drop off and pick up is only during our scheduled business hours. All pets need to be current on their vaccinations. If they are not current, we will update whatever vaccinations they need while they are in our care.
